Disciplinary Guidelines
If a twitch user is continually breaking the chat rules and disrupting the stream then they shall receive discipline in the form of time-outs and bans. These are to be issued in accordance the following guidelines:
No action must be taken on the first offence. If one breaks the chat rules three to four times, then they must be timed out for ten minutes.
If the user returns after their ban and continues to disrupt the stream, they must be banned on their first offence upon returning.
If it is believed that the person has made a secondary account after being banned or timed out, they must be banned on the first offence from that account.
Most common examples of how the rules get broken:
Repeated racism/discrimination of any sort, or repetition of anything against my chat rules (can be found on my twitch channel and should be known by mods).
Repeated advertising of any content or repeated linking to inappropriate sites.

The key is repetition. If one breaks the rules on one occasion then it is a moderators Job to warn them of their mistake and how they will be disciplined in due course* - more than three or four offences then moderators must take action in an appropriate way.
*In this circumstance, it is encouraged that moderators post a link to this webpage to alert the offender of our Strategies.
